A live instructor guides every class. Parents get a short progress note, and students get specific feedback on their work.

What you need

A laptop or desktop, an up-to-date browser, reliable internet, a keyboard, and a mouse or trackpad. Chromebooks need a device check first. Phones and tablets are not suitable for the core course.

Does my child need to know how to code?

No for First Game Lab. It starts with visual events and teaches the logic behind them. Builder Studio adds more complex systems; we check readiness before confirming a place.

Will my child need a public account?

The proposed classes use teacher-managed GDevelop Education student accounts. Public profiles and public game uploads are not required. A parent or guardian handles enrollment and consent.

Will AI build the games for them?

No. Student AI tools will be off in the core courses. Students build, test, and explain their own logic. Older learners may later study how to evaluate AI suggestions responsibly.

What if we miss a class?

The proposed course includes a private lesson recap and a catch-up task. Group classes are not recorded by default. Make-up availability is confirmed with the actual cohort schedule.

Are dates and places available now?

This is a concept preview. No places are currently reserved and no payments are collected. The enrollment preview shows the proposed flow; confirmed dates, instructor, and final terms come before launch.

What happens after the course?

Keep the project and the skills. Graduates can choose another studio project or join Creator Club. Neither requires an automatic subscription.

Will this lead to game income or a job?

The courses teach making, testing, and explaining games. They do not promise earnings, university admission, or employment.

These are the proposed service arrangements for the GameSpark relaunch. They are included to show how enrollment would work. The final operator details, policies, dates, instructor, and any taxes must be confirmed before classes go on sale.

What this demonstration does

The enrollment form runs only in this page while it is open. It does not send your details, save them in browser storage, open PayPal, reserve a place, or accept money. Please use sample details. Closing the enrollment window clears its fields.

How a confirmed enrollment would work

  1. A parent or guardian chooses a course and gives an age band, experience level, and preferred schedule.
  2. GameSpark checks fit and confirms the actual dates, time zone, instructor, cohort size, device requirements, price, and final terms.
  3. The parent receives an order summary and pays through PayPal to payments@gamespark.com.
  4. GameSpark verifies the payment and sends a receipt, setup instructions, and the private class link.

All proposed prices are US dollars. A payment receipt by itself would not replace the class confirmation. A four-week Creator Club purchase would be a one-time payment, with no automatic renewal.

Proposed cancellations and refunds

The $29 taster credit applies once to First Game Lab or Game Builder Studio booked within 14 days of the taster. It reduces the balance due; it is not a second charge or a cash reward. Final policies for tasters, private pods, and Portfolio Studio would be stated before purchase.

Proposed student privacy practices

Adults handle enrollment and payment. Collect the minimum information needed to organise classes. Do not request a child's full date of birth, home address, public profile, or payment details in a class signup form.

Use teacher-managed student accounts. Keep public publishing optional and subject to parent permission. Classes would not be recorded by default. GameSpark would obtain separate consent for any optional student showcase, photograph, or recording.

Before launch, the published privacy notice must identify the operator, a working privacy contact, service providers, retention periods, deletion process, and the consent method applicable to each launch location.

Learning environment

Students are expected to treat one another respectfully, use original or permitted assets, and keep private information out of games. Student AI tools are off in the core courses. Instructors teach students to understand and explain what they build.

GDevelop is a third-party tool. The proposed courses are independent of GDevelop, Roblox, and Scratch. GameSpark does not promise game revenue, employment, or university admission.

Before the site goes live

Actual cohorts, tested native lesson projects, instructor coverage, safeguarding procedures, device checks, merchant verification, payment testing, and the final enrollment and privacy arrangements must be in place. This preview is not a confirmation that those operational steps have been completed.
